The Aim of the society is to preserve Computers and related equipment. This page is meant to serve as an information point and to acknowledge the donations and help given to the group by a growing number of people and organizations.
What's in the collection?
The collection includes a wide variety of historic early and mainframe computers, such a Bendix G15D, several PDP-11 systems, as well as early modern computers from the 1970s and 1980s from companies such as Apple, IBM, Commodore, Microbee, BBC Acorn, and others
Participation
As of 2026, the ACMS of WA is ramping up activity. Our long time Patrons Tony and Linda are now needing to sell their property which currently houses the collection.
The committee of the ACMS in WA is currently investigating options. If you know of any property suitable for storage or display, we'd love to hear about it! We are working with the ACMS in NSW to ensure preservation of important software and documentation.

The ACMS of WA is holding regular meetings, and with the ACMS, aims to be a place that people interested in vintage computers and technology can get together
Membership
Access to the collection is by appointment only, with preference given to members. Groups may be accommodated with advanced notice.
